The Oaks

The Oaks is one of those perfectly named subdivisions, as it's a little enclave of 18 homes tucked into a heavily wooded area, just off Mossville Road. While it has a Peoria mailing address, it is located in the Dunlap school district. Specifically, it goes to Banner Elementary, Dunlap Middle, and of course Dunlap High School. The home values vary, but over the last few years have ranged from $400K to over $600K. Practically all of the homes were originally custom-built homes, built in the early to mid 1990's. It's a nicely spaced out subdivision, with most lots being a minimum of half an acre, and some well over an acre. Super close proximity to the popular Robinson Park-with it's hundreds of acres of walking and hiking paths.
