Oak Crest

Oak Crest is a nice subdivision in North Peoria that is located off Orange Prairie Lake and is nestled between two Peoria Park District lakes. Most of the homes were built in the 1990's and consists of a few ranches but mostly traditional two story homes. The access road to the subdivision, Orange Prairie Road, is a pretty road that is popular for joggers and walkers. The Peoria Park District park that is adjacent to the north side of the subdivision includes some fishing docks on the lake, along with trails, trees, open spaces, a playground, and basketball courts. It's about a mile from The Shoppes at Grand Prairie Mall and has easy interstate access to downtown Peoria. It belongs to the Charter Oak, Mark Bills, and Richwoods schools of Peoria's District 150.
